How this is calculated
The five limbs are computed, not looked up in a table. Tithi is the Moon’s elongation from the Sun divided into 30 steps of 12°; the masa is fixed by solving for the new moons either side of the day. Positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris in sidereal mode with the Lahiri ayanāṁśa — the same configuration our birth charts use, so an almanac and a kundli here can never disagree.
Evaluated at the local morning for the timezone given, which is IST by default. A panchanga is a property of a day and a place, not of anybody reading it.
